Outstanding contributor to Landcare

Anthony Lalor and his wife Cathy are dairyfarmers in Willow Grove.  Anthony started in Landcare when the Tanjil Valley Landcare Group formed 20 years ago.

Since then he has fenced off and planted out gullies, difficult areas and the Latrobe river which flows through his farm.

Anthony has also been very active in the Landcare group, he has hardly missed a Landcare meeting in the last 20 years and been Treasurer of the group for the last 10 years.

He was also very involved in the delivery of 60,000 plants from Moe to Fumina as part of Yallourn’s Energy 3 x $10,000 grants. He has worked with other property owners and the Upper Latrobe Drainage Trust to keep the Latrobe river free of rogue trees and weeds.

Anthony has been an outstanding contributor in administration for the 30 years of Landcare and was recognised for his contribution at our recent  Green Carpet Awards.
