Event Details

Over the last three years, Mt Worth Landcare member Jacob Krijt has developed an interest in bird photography after seeing many different birds coming on to his Ferndale property. There was a significant increase of different birds due to the increase of habitat from revegetated areas on the property and on neighbouring properties.

Jacob has taught himself photography in order to capture the birds present. Through his efforts, Jacob has photographed over 60 species of birds along the Wild Dog Creek, dams, in his house garden and on the farmlands.  Jacob has produced a bird book based on birds on the property and now has some of his photographs on display in an exhibition.

Opening of the exhibition will be 7.30pm Friday 23 November.  The Hall is also open to view the exhibition on Saturday 24 November from 12 noon to 5pm.
