The Corner Inlet Blackberry Action Group (CIBAG) is holding a Community Celebration to celebrate the programs achievements to date.

Speakers will include:

  • CIBAG Committee – celebrating successes
  • Cameron Stone, Landholder – Landholder personal story
  • Brian Watterson, Landholder – Landholder personal story
  • Matt Stephenson, Project Officer
  • Bob Wilson, Leading Biodiversity Officer, Gippsland – Invasive plants and animals
  • Matt Khoury, Community Waterways Officer
  • Kate Williams, South Gippsland Landcare Network Coordinator, Network activities

Attend the event to win the following prizes:

  1. Up to 1,000 litres of herbicide sprayed onto your blackberry – with thanks to John Kosta, Spraying Contractor
  2. 5 litres of conqueror – with thanks to Murray Goulburn, Foster
  3. 500 grams of brushoff plus 1 litre of dye – with thanks to Landmark, Foster

Conditions apply to be eligible to win the prizes: must reside in Corner Inlet target area, have signed or will sign a 3 year blackberry eradication agreement and be prepared to have a publicity photo published.

Live music will be provided by Don Cook

A sausage sizzle lunch will be provided, BYO chair
