Event Details

Join our Estuaries Unmasked “off the hook” tour to discover which fish species inhabit the Powlett river and the habitat and conditions they need to survive.

Come along and witness estuarine and freshwater electrofishing demonstrations, hear from fish experts and share your fishing stories and photos, all of which will help us learn more about which fish live where in the Powlett river catchment.

We will also be informing the attendants about local fish habitat improvements and plans for future projects within the Powlett catchment.

Starting and finishing at the Mouth of the Powlett Road carpark, this event includes a bus trip and a BBQ lunch. Places are limited.

Bookings are essential, please RSVP to or call 1300 094 262 by 25 May to secure your place.
