Event Details

The Maffra and District Landcare Network are hosting a National Tree Day event at Bengworden Road, Perry Bridge.

The Perry Bridge National Tree Day 2018 site will enable a 5 hectare waterway site to be revegetated with approximately 5,000 indigenous plants. This will provide improved water quality for the iconic Gippsland Lakes and enhance the biodiversity of the Gippsland Plains. The site forms part of the ‘Love our Lakes’ initiative.

Gloves, tools and equipment for planting, watering cans/buckets, drinking water, snacks, refreshments and a BBQ will all be provided on the day.

Planting and educational activities will be held and all are welcome to come along.

Please RSVP to Maffra and District Landcare on 0457 786 582.
