Event Details

The Sandy Point Community Group are running a community koala count, and we need an army of lovely volunteers to help.

Our koalas are suffering from mange and a lack of food trees, but we don’t know how many koalas we actually have.

We are inviting people to come along and help contribute to local knowledge about out koala population, learn more about the local koalas and have a fun day out doing it. a BBQ lunch will be held afterwards.

There will be an information session and handing out of maps and data sheets on Saturday 23 September from 2-3pm at the Sandy Point Hall.

Please register to volunteer by Sunday 10 September by contacting Caitlin Pilkington on 0428 302 938 or email
