Everyone is aware of the importance of planning for the future, but it can often be a difficult and confusing experience. Isobel Knight from Proagtive is coming to West Gippsland for a one-day workshop on farm financial/succession planning.

The workshop will cover:

  • How to start preparing your family business for the future
  • How to set clear goals
  • Developing a clear business purpose and aligned strategy
  • Why having a financial plan for your business is vital. Know your profit drivers and be profitable
  • Understanding generational difference and family dynamics
  • Developing a formal communication strategy
  • Formalizing roles, responsibilities and decision making processes which are aligned with pay and reward
  • The importance of having and communicating business policies
  • Understanding your ownership and trading structures and the legal and tax implications of your plan
  • Understanding the role of business advisors in business and succession planning and learn how Proagtive supports farming families.

Please bring as many family members as possible.
