Event Details

Learn how to collect seed and grow your own plants. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a basic understanding of :

  • safe and responsible seed collection, cleaning and storage methods
  • the role and underlying principles of provenance seed collection
  • implications of climate change and genetic diversity

You will be given information to assist with

  • obtaining permits and permissions
  • finding groups and support to begin seed collection
  • getting plants identified

The workshop will be held at Seeds of Gippsland, 1091 Tarra Valley Rd, Tarra Valley Arrive from 9.30 for a 10.00 am start. Car parking will need to be co-ordinated so please arrive early.
