Native bees: the unsung heroes of our bushland.
Did you know there are more than 1,500 species of native bees in Australia? Contrary to popular belief almost all of them sting and they don’t make honeycomb or live in hives.
This year guest speaker, Mitch Smith from Maffra will be talking to guests. Mitch runs a native nursery, is a keen photographer and has a special interest in native bees and their role in our ecosystem.
Come and bee amazed.
