COVID-19

COVID-19 Pandemic and COVIDSafe Plans

The West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority (WGCMA) is following, and acting on the current and latest advice of the Australian and Victorian governments, whilst attempting to minimise disruptions or delays to scheduled work and meet our statutory obligations.

We all play an integral role to help reduce the risks of spreading COVID-19 and to keep all employees, landholders, contractors and community members safe.

All contractors will be required to have an approved COVIDSafe plan to work on all WGCMA sites. Your COVIDSafe plan must set out, at a minimum:

  • the process you have in place to keep records of all workers or visitors who attend the work site
  • your actions to mitigate the introduction of COVID-19 in your workplace
  • the level of personal protective equipment (PPE) required for your workforce
  • how will you prepare for, and respond to, a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 in your workplace, taking into account your obligations under the Workplace Directions
  • an acknowledgement that you understand your obligations under the Workplace Directions.
